THESE WALLS SO THIN

lyrics

These Walls So Thin

Sometimes you whistle
and sometimes you sing
Sometimes you squeal
with delight
Soemtimes I hear you
through these walls so thin
crying alone in the night

Most times I'm missing
the lips I'd be kissing
If you were mine to hold
Still I will wait so
afraid to believe
That I could be so bold

Always a bridesmaid, and
never a bride
this is the tale of your life
coming and going and then
in between
trying somehow to survive

You've always been there
for everyone else
Where are they for you right now?
I wish I could tell you
what's here in my heart
wishing that I could somehow

for now I'll just see you
I want to be near you
So I will just sing you this song
Perhaps you will hear it through
these walls so thin
and we'll find a way to go on
